Last night I photographed a beautiful wedding at a gallery in Philadelphia. The streets of Old City are a photographer’s dream- after wandering down a cobblestone alley we stumbled upon a driveway and garage that looked more like a Tuscan villa…and voila- gorgeous backdrop for the bride and groom. Not that this stunning couple needed any help looking nice, but it’s always an added bonus. Ally and Jerry celebrated their wedding with a touching ceremony surrounded by close friends and family and I was so happy to be there to capture it. Here’s a preview…these are mostly from the beginning because I got carried away when I started looking through. Enjoy:) More to come in your full slideshow!
Last night I photographed my newest little nephew, and the newest Tinney grandchild. Although he doesn’t share the last name, the Tinney genes always seem dominant (mine included, even though I was sure my kids would have dark hair and a reasonable tolerance for the sun, I have two very fair blondies…) and sorry, Mark, but as a non-native Tinney myself, baby J is definitely a Tinney just like the dozen before him. And he’s adorable. I have never photographed a one-week old who was so alert and responsive to his momma’s voice as this little guy. We were able to gets lots of awake shots as well as the sleepy, smiling poses. Enjoy your preview and your sweet little boy!
This session from Saturday evening was quite productive for me, being the client was kind enough to show me not one, but about 5 perfect locations for sessions in the Exton/Downingtown area that I will definitely be back to use. Oh, and did I mention he’s also an experienced commercial photographer? This was by far my easiest session yet from a posing/cooperation/setup standpoint…I pretty much just had to press the button:) This is a fun, adventurous family who are up for just about anything that could make for an interesting shot- so we took lots of ’em! It was very hard to select just a few for this preview…but here you go! Thanks for a fun session, B family- hope to see you one of these Tuesday nights:)
This week I met up with the S Family at (where else) Longwood…I could go into my Longwood advertising schpeal (sp) again but I’ll skip it. It was a warm morning but this family was lots of fun, and looked unbelievably well rested after just returning from the beach the night before. I am sure I didn’t look nearly as fresh when we got back a few weeks ago. Little Mr. J has quite the smile, and with his willingness to turn it on at the drop of a hat, I’m pretty sure he could have a future in modeling. His sisters are also cuties in their matching dresses and I think everyone had fun wandering around the Gardens…sitting in trees, looking at bees and playing in the fountain. I know I did, and we got some great shots! Enjoy your preview S family!
